The Engineering Our Future programme is offered as a back to back full day workshop for a whole year group exploring different aspects of Engineering and careers.
The learning experience will highlight the skills needed to enter the broad range of career opportunities in your towns growth sectors, such as;

What's included?
Please note that sessions vary depending on which Keystage you're interested in. This example covers Year 7-9 (KS3), however, we do have a slightly different set of sessions for Year 9-11 (KS3/KS4). Full information can be found below.
iEngineer
Teamwork and problem solving are put to the test whilst using the highly engaging VEX robotics system.
The Drawing Board
Demand led innovation with tasks that include solving a world problem.
Career
Hunt
In teams working through a series of practical challenges, using their knowledge from school subjects to uncover more about the careers in engineering.
Engineered Infrastructure
Putting their problem solving and teamwork to the test as they race against the clock to solve a logistics challenge.
Solution Engineering
An opportunity to learn about renewables and present their findings back to the class.
Engineering Factor
Working in pairs to bust myths linked to engineering as they take part in this competitive quiz.
Structural Engineer
Putting their problem solving and teamwork as they work to build the tallest hurricane proof tower with a limited budget to buy recycled materials.

Delivery
Sessions can be delivered to groups of 30 learners and can be offered in a carousel school day if required.
Price starts from £2,850+VAT*
*This is dependant on student numbers, location and delivery staff required - this price applies to a Midland based school and 5 education communicators delivering the whole programme.
