‘Our Future’ is funded by the Department for Education Opportunity Area and delivered by Education and Employers, Learn by Design and dmh Associates. Primary schools involved in the project will have the opportunity to access hundreds of business volunteers from a range of sectors using the Primary Futures programme and due to overwhelming demand the project is seeking volunteers from all walks of live to sign up and get involved.
Webinars
Throughout 2021, we will be delivering a series of CPD webinars to ensure teachers and senior leaders in schools are supported to embed careers related learning in the curriculum through the sharing of resources, case studies and best practise. These webinars will also provide schools with an opportunity to showcase their development and share their learning with other primary schools in Derby.

Webinar: Introduction to Volunteering with Our Future Derby
If you've just joined up to Inspiring the Future through Our Future Derby and would like to learn more about the project, how Inspiring the Future works and how to get the most out of volunteering with us this webinar is for you. In this session we will deep-dive into the Our Future Derby project and impact so far, give a live demonstration of the portal and hear from a local volunteer who can share their tips and tricks on volunteering through the programme. This session is also a great introduction to the project for those who might be interested in supporting Our Future Derby and would like to learn more before signing up.

Primary Futures

Our Future Derby recently hosted a Careers Related Learning (CRL) free webinar to summarise the findings of the project, the progress it has made, recent evaluation findings and to showcase and share best practice and resources.
